North New Brighton Community Centre

WORKING ALONGSIDE THE CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL, BUILDTECH CARRIED OUT REPAIRS AND STRENGTHENING TO COUNCIL FACILITIES IN AND AROUND CANTERBURY. NORTH NEW BRIGHTON COMMUNITY CENTRE IS READY AGAIN FOR LIFE BY THE SEA.

Project: Commercial Repair and Upgrade

Client: Christchurch City Council

As a preferred contractor under the Christchurch City Council Commercial and Social Housing Repairs Programme, Buildtech undertook upgrade, repair and strengthening work to the community centre. The centre is a multi-use facility available for community activities and private social functions.

The centre was damaged during the Canterbury earthquakes and required repair and strengthening works to ensure it remain safe for the public.

Completion of the repairs and upgrades were carried out during the third and fourth quarter of 2015 in time for the 2015/16 summer season.
